Summary:
The Kroger Central Divisional Customer Sales Executive (CSE) is responsible for profitably growing Kroger and The Hershey Salty Snacks business to achieve objectives and plans, including net sales, market share, trade spend, and sales activity margin with a focus on our Salty Snacks Grocery business. Responsibilities include business planning & analysis, creating valued business partnerships with key contacts at Kroger Divisions & within Hershey, and achieving mutually beneficial agreements through skilled negotiation and understanding of the customer’s business. The CSE will also be responsible for communicating sales plans to our retail teams and driving strategic thought leadership through joint business planning at their respective Kroger Divisions.
Responsibilities:
· Achieve net sales, market share, trade spend, and sales activity margin targets for Kroger by simulating and planning incremental volume, pre and post analysis, and displaying core competencies and behaviors. This includes judiciously managing Kroger Divisional trade funds (maintaining compliance with all Sarbanes Oxley policies) to achieve profitable sales growth.
· Effectively utilize Hershey’s and customers analytical tools (e.g. IRI, Market 6, 8451/Stratum, Tableau, etc.) to drive profitable and predictable sales results.
· Create annual merchandising plans and post-audits
· Evolve Joint Business Plans for all Divisions
· Conduct Kroger Divisional KDM appointments, partnering with Hershey support sharing in growth strategies
· Develop Kroger Divisional Strategic Partnerships beyond the buying desk
· Work collaboratively with Hershey Corporate Kroger CSE, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Shopper Insights, Sales Planning, Supply Chain, Retail Leaders, IS and other cross functional partners.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Experience: At least 5-6 years relevant sales experience
