🌍 How does Finalis work?
We are a fully-remote company with Finalists distributed between the time zones of Eastern Standard Time and Eastern European Time .
If you’re located outside this time zone range, depending on the needs of your team, you may be requested to be available during specific hours.
Although we don’t have an official physical place to work, we promote gathering with your team or other colleagues whenever possible.

The Business Intelligence (BI) team is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing the company's data strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals. This team plays a key role in organizing the company's information systems to provide structure, visibility, and actionable insights to leaders across the organization.
In addition to internal reporting and analytics, the BI team is focused on monetizing the data we collect. They create data-driven products such as dashboards, newsletters, and other reporting tools, which provide value to both internal stakeholders and external customers. These offerings not only enhance decision-making within the company but also generate a revenue stream by packaging and selling insights through customized data products.
The team works collaboratively to ensure data visibility, maintain high data quality standards, and continually develop innovative solutions that drive both business intelligence and new business opportunities.
✨ What will you be doing?
Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Data Studio, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, R, and Python.
Translate complex analyses into simple, clear conclusions and actionable next steps for operations and leadership teams.
Provide not just what stakeholders ask for, but what they truly need by understanding the bigger picture and aligning solutions with business goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, understand needs, and create tailored data solutions for both internal and external purposes.
Build strong relationships across the organization, acting as a key liaison between data teams and business units.
Lead and coordinate a data governance team to ensure high-quality data and establish validation processes to monitor and measure data accuracy.
Design and implement scalable solutions for data infrastructure, working closely with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
Manage and maintain data warehouses and data marts, ensuring seamless access to reliable data for business use.
Support the development of business strategies through data-driven recommendations, providing insights for growth and improvement.
Lead the selection and integration of BI tools and technologies to enhance analytics capabilities.
Utilize advanced statistical methods and predictive modeling to forecast trends and uncover opportunities for optimization.
Drive BI projects from planning to execution, creating roadmaps and ensuring solutions are aligned with business goals and timelines.
Present complex data insights in a clear, concise manner, effectively communicating with leadership and board members.
Recommend the next best steps for business operations and leadership based on data-driven insights.
Communicate efficiently with the board and executive team, translating technical findings into strategic value, and advocate for the data analytics function within the organization.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary for the entire company, ensuring clarity and consistency in data usage across the organization.
Contribute to and add value to the enterprise data model, defining and maintaining a unified structure for all company data.
Create, enforce, and promote data usage rules and best practices within all company systems to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Understand and design system integrations, bringing order to the data chaos by establishing efficient data flow between systems.
Promote a data-driven culture within the organization by advocating for data literacy and best practices across teams, while ensuring the data analytics area is seen as a critical business enabler.
💬 Who are we looking for?
A highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with a deep understanding of data analytics, business intelligence, and stakeholder management.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data querying languages to extract, manipulate, and analyze data effectively.
Advanced knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker for creating interactive and insightful visualizations.
Experience with data warehousing solutions like Redshift and Snowflake for managing and optimizing data storage and pipelines.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and R for advanced data analysis, automation, and modeling.
4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role, preferably within the fintech industry.
A big-picture thinker who can go beyond fulfilling requests, delivering what the business needs to achieve its goals.
Proven ability to build strong relationships across teams, serving as a trusted partner to stakeholders at all levels.
Someone who can translate complex data analyses into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for both operations and leadership.
Exceptional written and spoken English with excellent communication skills, especially when presenting complex data insights to leadership and the board.
A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and can work independently to plan, develop, and implement data products and solutions.
Proficient in Google Workspace, with strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
Ability to handle confidential information with care and professionalism.
Ability to work swiftly with a high sense of urgency and remain comfortable with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive leader able to coordinate data governance efforts, ensuring data quality, creating validation processes, and enforcing rules for data usage across systems.
Experience in developing and maintaining a data dictionary, contributing to the enterprise data model, and creating scalable system integrations.
A leader who can foster a data-driven culture, promote best practices in analytics, and empower teams to make informed decisions through data.
