BI Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced BI Analyst to help us change the way the world works. Here, you’ll be a part of the Data Analytics team, data modeling, building dashboards, and conducting deep dives into analyses that can change business strategies. You’ll have strong engagement with leadership teams to deliver insights and tell a story with data to support company initiatives.

As a BI Analyst, you will:
- Independently craft and drive data solutions. This includes leading discussions around business KPIs, their measurement plans, data requirements and reporting with key stakeholders.
- Ability to deep dive into advanced analyses, providing robust models tied to business objectives and outcomes, and being able to derive meaningful conclusions from it.
- Craft analyses to extract novel conclusions about the marketplace that can help evolve business strategy, with little direction.
- Ideate and implement unexplored analyses that can identify areas of opportunity that support business goals.
- Experience in applying statistical techniques such as data sampling or classification to business use cases.
- Direct and lead visualization and flexible storytelling in dashboards. Architect and own a reporting suite to tell the story of business trends, patterns, and outliers through rich visualizations.
- Be able to work independently, identify dependencies to unblock projects, and craft courses of action to complete projects.
- Manage multiple complex projects, identifying dependencies and working on parallel tracks.
- Implement data models in dbt and visualizations in Looker.
- Proactively fix issues as found to support data accuracy and consistency in reports.
What YOU Bring to the Table:
- 5+ years of professional experience demonstrating career progression and increase complexity of work.
- 4+ years of analytical experience with deep understanding of the marketplace in previous areas of employment.
- 3+ years of experience in building reporting and dashboarding solutions using tools such as Tableau, Looker, Superset, etc with at least 1 full year experience with LookML and Looker visualizations.
- 3+ years of experience working in business intelligence, data analytics, data science, data engineering or a similar role.
- 1+ years of experience with data modeling tools such as DBT.
- Ability to think strategically, analyze and interpret market and consumer information. Business background is a plus.
- Adept in creating dashboards that invite data exploration and conform to data visualization best practices.
- Familiar in data modeling and building processes to support data accuracy and consistency.
- Strong SQL and data warehouse experience with Snowflake in particular a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with technical and non-technical teams.
- Proven record of using data to solve for complex use cases and going beyond stated requirements to answer the next layer of what-if questions.
