As the Line of Business (LOB) Marketing Specialist, you will support the activation of integrated marketing strategies, plans and campaigns for both Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) audiences.
You will report directly to the Director, Line of Business Marketing for Global Automotive. You will serve in a critical support role as the day-to-day contact for internal clients. To be successful in this role, you will need to build strong relationships across stakeholder groups, and gain deep knowledge of the US automotive business, products and priorities.
You will collaborate with internal and external resources (cross functional teams, Centers of Excellence, agencies and partners) to create and produce, integrated, cross-channel campaigns and experiences that resonate with key audiences and drive business results.
You will gather necessary information to inform our strategy and approach, help set and manage expectations and communicate timely information and updates to all stakeholders.
You will assist in the development and execution of marketing projects, presentations, campaigns and media plans. You will ensure delivery of a work product that is on brief and within agreed scope, schedule and budget.
Client Service & Project Management (60%)
- Serve as the primary internal client liaison for sales, account, product, CX and operations/claims teams. Help gather information, prioritize projects, manage expectations and communicate updates regularly.
- Check all marketing deliverables for accuracy as well as strategic and brand integrity.
- Manage stakeholder reviews, feedback and changes, gathering additional information and providing rationale as needed.
- Daily management of client marketing requests/intake, new client implementations, client sponsorships and fulfillment of client marketing materials.
- Daily management of planned work effort including priority projects for sales, account, product, CX, ops/claims and senior leadership/strategic accounts.
- Intake jobs and manage touchpoints for planning (Monday.com) and content delivery (Assurant.com, social/digital, media relationships.
- Open jobs and submit requests to COEs (creative services, Legal, etc) through appropriate channels (Robohead, Monday.com), providing thorough and clear direction on all requests. Manage work from inception through final delivery.
- Partner with LOB Strategy Manager and COEs to develop or update necessary background, messaging, project or creative briefs.
- Partner with Project Manager and/or COE resources to develop and deliver against timelines.
Marketing Planning & Campaigns (20%)
- Support the execution of Integrated Marketing & Communication (IMC) campaign plans and activities for Global Automotive.
- Assist with the development and delivery of annual and quarterly plans. Gather necessary information from stakeholders to assess opportunities, help prioritize projects and manage backlog.
- Lead development of monthly content calendars for timely communications with B2B audiences (account teams and sales). Identify and research topics, align with other enterprise/LOB content efforts, gain approvals and develop content for publishing.
- Lead development of consumer content calendar, aligning with CX, product and COEs to deliver timely, engaging content both directly (i.e. email, social, web) and via our partners (i.e. client marketing toolkits, emails).
Paid Media Support (20%)
- Work directly with trade publications to identify and assess media opportunities and secure placements.
- Secure trade media placements, quality check and send materials, manage billing and performance.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
- 5+ years progressive experience in marketing including B2B and B2C marketing in a direct or matrixed environment.
- 3+ years direct experience in a client or project management function or related capacity.
Preferred Skills
- Capable of developing and delivering presentations (written and verbal) to colleagues, internal clients, leadership and colleagues.
- Direct experience with developing, executing and measuring successful B2C and B2B marketing strategies, plans and campaigns.
- At least 2 years managing B2B and B2C marketing with a Fortune 500 company, or directly supporting large brands or Fortune 500 companies in an agency or consulting capacity.
- Financial services industry experience preferred.
- Detail oriented with strong project management skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability.
- Direct experience with managing digital and traditional marketing efforts and channels from concept through to production.
- Experience with all types of B2B media channels including trade and association media, tradeshows and sponsorships.
- Excellent people skills; ability to build relationships, navigate cross-functional teams and internal/external resources. Comfortable working in matrixed environments.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a keen attention to detail.
- Good skills providing creative and artistic direction
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with complex and changing market dynamics.

Pay Range:
$63,400.00 - $105,800.00
Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
