Who are we looking for? 
We are looking for a creative and results-driven Marketing Specialist (Social Media) to produce and post engaging content based on Edunation’s social media strategies. Your primary responsibilities include creating innovative content, ensuring its timely distribution, and staying updated on social media trends to optimize engagement. Additionally, you will analyze performance data to help optimize content and improve engagement.

You will actively engage with relevant Facebook groups, not only in the Philippines but also in other countries, as directed by Edunation’s strategy, to grow our community. Additionally, you will interact with customers across platforms by responding to comments, participating in live sessions, and maintaining engagement. You'll also support Edunation’s podcast and YouTube series, contributing to content creation and execution.

In addition, you'll assist with planning and executing on-site and virtual events, while collaborating with a global marketing team to ensure your success. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.

What will be the tasks? 

  • Actively create and post content across social media platforms, aligned with Edunation's marketing strategies.
  • Stay informed of social media trends and integrate them into your daily work.
  • Interact with relevant Facebook groups in the Philippines and other countries as directed by Edunation, growing the community and fostering engagement.
  • Engage with customers by responding to social media comments, participating in live sessions, and maintaining a strong online presence.
  • Support Edunation’s podcast and YouTube series through content creation and execution.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of on-site and virtual events for customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on additional tasks as needed.
  • Participation in regular online meetings set by the Edunation Team
  • Participation in a once or twice a month team meeting in Makati or another dedicated place is required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

What is your background?

  • Graduate with a bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media marketing or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and experience in content creation.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English and Tagalog.
  • Ability to think creatively and bring innovative ideas to the table.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently while managing multiple projects effectively.
