Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an ERP Project Management Intern to join our team! You will work independently and with our Enterprise Transformation team to support the company’s initiative to roll out the Horizon (Oracle) Cloud system. You will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, as well as be responsible for supporting the department with daily operations, administrative tasks, and participate in all milestones of Horizon projects.

This will be a long-term project and, based on performance, could lead to a full-time career opportunity with Taylor.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Administrative and Project Support
    • Provide daily administrative support for various projects and departmental operations.
    • Assist with data entry, testing, and research in systems or spreadsheets.
    • Maintains Project Documentation and content creation as needed 
    • Schedules meetings and owns team calendars 
    • Prepare and organize materials for presentations and status reports.
    • Support Enterprise Transformation deliverables for internal or external customers.
  • Jira Management and Optimization
    • Manage and maintain Jira projects, boards, workflows, schemes, and configurations.
    • Configure user roles, permissions, and access controls to align Jira with organizational processes.
    • Design and implement custom workflows, dashboards, and reports.
    • Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and propose Jira-based solutions to enhance workflows.
  • Training Design and Delivery
    • Assist in developing tailored training programs, materials, and user guides.
    • Create and maintain user documentation, including FAQs and quick reference guides.
    • Assist in maintenance of Training systems and tools 
    • Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys and feedback, refining programs as needed.
  • Business Analysis Support
    • Participate in the Business Analyst Community of Practice.
    • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
    • Write functional designs, user stories, and training documentation.
    • Support system testing and rollout activities.

You Must Have:

  • Enrolled in a four year college degree program in IT, Business Administration, or equivalent areas of study
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form
  • Ability to follow written and verbal direction and effectively interface with employees, management, and customers
  • Ability to perform tasks under work deadlines
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and well organized
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
