The Role:

As a Pediatric Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive autism and related morbidity evaluations for children, using our suite of clinical tools, this will form the foundation for individualized treatment plans within ABA programs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children suspected of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related conditions using our clinical tools, that act as your co-pilot in completing reports with greater efficiency and detail.
  • Using our tools, deliver clear, concise, and defensible psychological reports that outline diagnoses, recommendations for treatment, and potential eligibility for services.
  • Collaborate with families, ABA therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Stay current on best practices in autism assessment and intervention, including PSYPACT regulations in relevant states.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Potentially participate in outreach and educational activities related to autism spectrum disorder and pediatric mental health.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology with a specialization in Pediatric or Child Psychology.
  • Must be a licensed Psychologist in good standing in at least one of the states we operate in (New Mexico and/or Colorado).
  • Active member of PSYPACT (Psychologists Interjurisdictional Compact) allowing for telehealth evaluations across state lines.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience conducting comprehensive autism evaluations in children.
  • Strong foundation in evidence-based assessment practices for ASD and related conditions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex diagnostic findings to families and professionals.
  • Proficiency in electronic recordkeeping systems (e.g., EHR) is a plus.
  • Commitment to cultural competency and providing services in a family-centered, collaborative manner.
  • Passion for working with children with autism spectrum disorder and their families.

We have determined a salary range for this position that takes into account several factors including experience, knowledge, education, skills, and abilities. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline and the exact salary will be determined based on the individual’s qualifications and experience, with consideration given to the factors listed above.

Expected Salary Range:

$120,000-$180,000
