We’re currently looking for: A RingCentral-Charter Channel Manager to focus on growing market share by accelerating growth of the Charter partnership with RingCentral. The Channel Manager will be responsible for driving sales enablement, sales opportunities and sales programs within the Charter sales channels. As the lead SME the Channel Manager will be responsible for enabling the Charter SMB and Enterprise sales channels and account teams, which includes training, sales development and general sales support. The role is expected to develop deep knowledge and expertise of Charter business units in both SMB and Enterprise markets.
To succeed in this role you must have experience in:
Driving opportunities to close in coordination with Partners
Develop business plans and drive sales of UC solutions with Partners
Conduct regular business reviews and planning meetings with senior sales leadership in assigned region
Engage partner sellers with prospecting, sales meetings and closing new opportunities
Conduct lunch and learns and other ongoing training and sales enablement activities
Work with internal cross-functional teams to assist partner sales teams with implementation, support and escalations
Work cross-functionally with other team members to deliver on company goals
Drive requirements and help develop sales tools and materials for the service provider channel
Serve as internal channel advocate to ensure partner and customer satisfaction
Participation in industry events such as trade shows and seminars
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to travel up to 60%
3+ years of channel sales and/or direct sales experience with tier 1 service providers and/or channel partners.
3+ B2B, field sales technology background in, SAAS, UCaaS, VoIP, Hosted PBX
Demonstrated track record of successful experience in maintaining an existing customer base
Ability to strongly influence decision makers
BA / BS or equivalent education and relevant experience
A proactive, high energy self-starter with ability to work independently
Ability to convey and relate ideas to others via strong interpersonal skills
Desire to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment with a vibrant and energetic attitude and consistent willingness to perform and get things done.
