The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Operations Controller to manage and oversee the financial operations on RedPay, our payment wallet integrated with the Open Commerce eB2B marketplace platform. RedPay facilitates customer payments and digital services, including bill payments and recharges. The ideal candidate will focus on managing all customer requests related to RedPay, ensuring seamless withdrawal processing, and maintaining the integrity of financial transactions. This role demands a hands-on approach to developing and implementing operational processes while ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Request Management:
    • Handle and resolve all customer queries and requests related to RedPay transactions, including payments, withdrawals, and digital services.
    • Ensure timely and accurate processing of withdrawal requests, coordinating with relevant stakeholders as necessary.
    • Manage end to end KYC and KYB Management as per individual market requirements
  • Transaction Monitoring & Reconciliation:
    • Monitor all financial transactions on RedPay to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company policies.
    • Conduct regular reconciliations of transactions to maintain the integrity of financial data and promptly address discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Develop and optimize financial operation processes for RedPay, focusing on enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
    • Implement best practices for financial control and risk management, ensuring all processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare and present regular reports on financial operations, transaction volumes, and key metrics related to RedPay.
    • Analyze trends and data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial operations and customer experience.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with the finance, customer support, and technology teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of RedPay within the marketplace platform.
    • Liaise with external partners and vendors to manage relationships and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure all RedPay operations comply with financial regulations and internal policies.
    • Identify potential risks in financial processes and implement mitigation strategies to minimize exposure.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in financial operations, payment processing, or related roles within the fintech, e-commerce, or FMCG sectors.
  • Experience managing customer financial transactions and withdrawal processes.
  • Customer centric mind-set
  • Proficiency in financial software, transaction monitoring systems, and Microsoft Excel
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to managing financial operations and improving processes.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
