Responsibilities

  • Create, document, and improve processes related to configuring data sets
  • Create technical specifications from business requirements
  • Participate in design and configuration
  • Configure data sets from technical specifications
  • Performs product configuration reviews and testing
  • Attend regular meetings with stakeholders to review and update product requirements on current functionality and complexity of adding new features.
  • Attend daily Agile meetings for planning, refinements, retrospectives, reviews, and stand-ups.
  • Contribute to documentation to share knowledge across multiple departments.
  • Ability to learn a new programming language and maintain coding standards and best practices.
  • Assist and support the release of updated software.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams on development.


Requirements

  • 3+ years experience configuring software products is preferred
  • Experience with version control.
  • Understand Agile methodologies, frameworks, and practices in a services organization.
  • Preferred knowledge of HR, Payroll, or Time & Attendance.
  • Logical, detail oriented, and technical mindset that can analyze problems and identify root causes.
  • Design, test, maintain, debug, document, and upgrade Workforce Software products in a controlled environment.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong experience with MS Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Product Development Lifecycle.
  • Experience with MSSQL database, writing queries
  • Knowledge or familiarity with a programming like java, JavaScript, C, C#, C++


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/related field or equivalent experience.
