Job Description

AstraZeneca is looking for a Payment Analyst to join our Global Business Services (GBS) â Compliance, Legal and Contracting Operations (CLCO) E3S team. This role is crucial in handling technical and administrative aspects of payment coordination for E3S systems and processes related to Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and external authority (EE). You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant processing of payments in accordance with policies, procedures, regulations, and clarity/disclosure reporting requirements. Accountabilities
As a Payment Analyst, you will engage with external collaborators in compliance with AstraZeneca SOPâs, complete prompt and timely payments to EEâs and Patients, initiate the process for reimbursing the External Authority for services, work with the Business Engagement Owner and/or Medical Communications agency to collect relevant data and documents, prepare and submit payment request for processing by Finance, apply and maintain payment templates and tools, maintain data integrity in Salesforce, ePay, DocuSign systems and handle timely delivery and resolution of ad hoc queries from External Experts, customers and other collaborators.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree or equivalent experience
- First experience in Accounts Payable or Account Receivables
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management
- Solid understanding of SAP
- Positive âcan doâ demeanor
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and social skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- High ethical standards; credible; operate with absolute discretion
- Proactive and consultative customer service
- Ability to work across cultures and geographical boundaries
- Competent technical / systems experience and skills
