Could This Be For You?:

We are seeking a Payment Specialist II – Remote.  This position supports the Accounts Receivable / vendor teams in their daily functions and ensures that all processes (collection, posting, audits, etc.) are processed accurately and timely; in accordance with the Hanger’s standard operating procedures.

Your Impact:
  • Research and resolve escalated issues arising due to various posting related issues
  • Assist with monitoring and auditing of remote team's performance and provide feedback
  • Communicate effectively and clearly with a remote team
  • Ensure payments are posted both accurately and timely
  • Perform reconciles and investigations to ensure all issues are resolved accurately and timely
  • Assist with quality assurance audits of business financials
  • Provide customer support to resolve claim payment processing issues  
Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. with a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Minimum 3 years administrative and/or healthcare billing experience  

 

Preferred

  • Experience in Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P) payment posting  

NextGen Practice Management experience  

Additional Success Factors:

  • General knowledge of Medicare and SOX Compliance and HIPPA
  • General knowledge of Janus and OPS processes.
  • Experience with  Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and OnBase

  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service to patients, fellow employees and referral sources.

Pay range of $18.93 to $26.87 per hour + annual bonus: up to 5% of base pay depending on bonus criteria.  This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws.  Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
