Remote/In-Person (hybrid available)

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary 

The Community Partner Work Incentives Coordinator (CPWIC) will provide benefits planning, assistance, and outreach to Social Security Administration beneficiaries with disabilities and their key stakeholders.  The goal of this position is to assist people with disabilities to successfully enter the workforce and increase their self-sufficiency by providing clear, accurate, and credible information about the impact of work on benefits; providing access to work incentives; providing referrals to other supports such as employment networks and the state vocational rehabilitation program; and assisting with problems related to benefits that may arise as the individual begins working. This work requires advanced professional skills and knowledge of all government benefit programs.

 

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related human service field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education preferred
  • 1 year of related experience preferred  
  • Ability to meet Level 5 Federal Security Clearance guidelines for employment required

 

Certification

  • Achieve and maintain Benefits Information Network (BIN) Liaison certification within 6 months of hire
  • Achieve and maintain Community Partner Work Incentives Counselor (CPWIC) certification within 12 months of hire

  • Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization
  • Must have reliable transportation and utilize personal vehicle to transport self/others and to attend trainings and/or meetings
