About the role
The Vice President of Network Operations is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the provider network strategy. This role includes leading teams dedicated to Provider Data Management, Provider Network Monitoring & Performance Management (including access/adequacy), and the Provider Network Center of Excellence. The VP drives network optimization, ensures quality and compliance, and enhances operational efficiency within the provider network. This leader collaborates with executive stakeholders to align network performance with organizational goals, leveraging analytics to make data-driven decisions.
You will report to the Senior Vice President, Network and Provider Management.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $255,200 - $334,950 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program, company equity grants and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Provider Data Management team to ensure provider information is accurate, complete, and continuously updated.
- Develop and implement data quality controls and governance processes to maintain data integrity across systems.
- Collaborate with Tech and data partners to optimize systems for efficient data handling, integration, and reporting.
- Establish standards and protocols for data collection, validation, and management.
- Design and lead strategies for real-time monitoring and periodic assessment of provider performance, utilization, and quality.
- Develop KPIs, benchmarks, and reporting dashboards to track network performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee periodic provider audits, ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Work with contract management teams to set performance-based incentives, penalties, or corrective action plans when needed.
- Build and maintain a Provider Network Center of Excellence to standardize best practices and drive network efficiencies.
- Drive consistency in workflows, tools, and methodologies to promote scalability and efficiency.
- Serve as a key partner in developing long-term strategies for network operations, capacity planning, and geographic expansion.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to department leaders
- Establish and maintain relationships with external providers, vendors, and key industry stakeholders.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in healthcare provider network operations, with a focus on provider data management, network performance, and process improvement.
- 10+ years of leadership experience
- 5+ years of experience with health information systems, data governance, and reporting tools.

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
