The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity within our rapidly growing Consultancy Practice team. We are expanding our skills and capacity to deliver high-value Dynamics 365 implementation projects, facilitating our clients’ digital transformation, and driving productivity and growth.
 
As a Solution Architect, your role will adapt based on the specific project or type of work being undertaken. You will be assigned to and responsible for a customer, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs. Whether leading a delivery team directly or through influence, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the team’s skillset. You will demonstrate your leadership values through effective delegation, motivation, trust, and decisive action.


What skills and working characteristics should this person have?
  • Proven experience as a D365 Business Central Solution Architect.
  • Proficiency in configuring, and writing customisation specifications for, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, embracing an “out-of-the-box first” approach
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and business processes, allowing you to lead requirements gathering workshops, and write clear requirements
  • Proficiency with data migration strategies and data importing techniques.
  • Proven experience with Business Central integrations using modern integration technologies
  • Proven experience with BC/CE integrations, using the standard connector and customisations
  • Strong understanding of data reporting methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically, and lead in situations of crisis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • MB800 required; PL900 and MB280 desirable

  • As a Microsoft Dynamics BC Solution Architect, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Leading the design, implementation, and customisation of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central solutions to meet client requirements, following Infinity Group’s methodology and approach to projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into detailed design and technical specifications and innovative solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including system design, integrations, customisations and data migration plans.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Conduct and document rigorous system testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and related technologies, incorporating new features and best practices into solutions.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensure the quality of the delivered solution meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Take responsibility for the successful implementation of solutions, showing leadership and a problem-solving mentality.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Review and sign off on work carried out by other consultants on the project, ensuring high standards of quality.
  • Ensure the cost of proposed solutions is within the project budget.
  • Ensure any ISVs used are company backed or have been thoroughly investigated and tested, the investment to learn the product assessed, and support for the ISV considered.
  • Always design a solution with a ‘standard product first’ approach, considering ISVs and the Power Platform as part of the solution.
  • Collaborate with other Solution Architects in different practices, providing detailed planning of interdependent activities, for example in the case of BC/CE integrations.
