THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION
Position Description:
The Learning Experience Designer (LED) is responsible for driving high-quality training across BOP. The LED is responsible for ideating, coordinating, and supporting Learning Design activities in conjunction with subject matter experts (SME), playing a critical role in the end-to-end learning process – learning needs identification, analysis, design, development, and transition to delivery. This includes creating engaging blended, instructor-led training, eLearning, microlearning, social/cohort learning, and video content, designed to meet delivery needs from self-paced to virtual across all our sites. The LED is expected to be highly creative and innovative to imagine and create training videos, job aids, leader guides, PowerPoint presentations, and e-learning deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop learning solutions and programs applying adult learning principles and systematic instructional design to create learning content that best fits the learner's and business's needs.
- Consult with subject matter experts to identify and obtain learning objectives and content; and advise on various learning approaches.
- Analyze and select the most appropriate learning strategy, methodology, and technology to maximize the learning experience and impact.
- Identify existing learning materials that may be leveraged or modified to support existing learning needs.
- Ideate and innovate thoughtful design experiences that meet the business and modern learner needs.
- Work with key business stakeholders to ensure cultural and branding alignment among departments and programs.
Applications & Technology:
- Keep abreast and maintain proficiency in emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Articulate Storyline, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, DocuTools, Final Cut, etc.
- Keep abreast and maintain proficiency in UX design methods.
Project Management:
- With minimal guidance, develop course delivery schedules and timelines for all assigned projects.
- With minimal guidance, monitor progress and resolve approved deviations from the plan.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or related field or 5 years of relevant experience required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of direct experience designing and developing high-quality, engaging educational materials and content to include online learning/digital modules, instructor-led materials, job aids, guides, and other training or educational assets required.
- Experience in developing multimedia products (video, audio, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Experience forming relationships with Subject Matter Experts and internal customers from a wide array of functional areas.
- Experience developing training solutions that are end-to-end from needs analysis, to content gathering, designing, implementing, editing, and evaluating.
- Experience working in the healthcare sector preferred.
