About the Opportunity  

Our National IT Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO) has an immediate opening for an IT Analyst to join their Continuity and Resilience Services team. You will assist in supporting data gathering, analysis and reporting for an array of resilience data. This role will be essential in providing National IT with a clear understanding of resilience across the organization through data analysis and data visualization.  

What You Will Do:

  • Use technical and functional expertise to analyze continuity and resilience data with the intent to provide reporting dashboards that will enhance resilience across National IT.

  • Plan, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards tailored to stakeholder needs, using visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI or similar.

  • Facilitate resilience discussions by presenting outcomes in written and verbal format to customers and senior management.

  • Maintain cross-functional relationships to leverage and enhance continuity and resilience across National IT and the Federal Reserve System.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate technical solutions and other manual processes. 

  • Use Agile methodology and JIRA to enable development work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • The IT Analyst Senior 6 to 9 years of practical experience in data collection, data analysis, dashboard development, and reporting. While the IT Analyst Experienced will have 3 to 6 years of experience in the same.

  • Knowledge of organizational resilience, data visualization, data preparation, data extract, transfer, load processes.

  • Experience with Agile methodology and tools (JIRA).

  • Working knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and data manipulation (SQL, Python, R).

  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

  • Ability to tailor communications to their appropriate audience and present information in a credible, confident, and influential manner. Communicates in a concise, direct, and purposeful way.

  • Ability to lead colleagues in data analysis discussions to understand trends and outcomes based on the data.

  • Ability to make decisions and think critically in a fast pace, ever-changing environment.

  • The hiring range for the Experienced level is $73,000 to $100,430 and the Senior hiring range is $88,000 to $121,000 annually.

  • For candidates outside Richmond, VA, listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.

  • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
