Job description

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to manage our contract processes and agreements. This individual will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing a variety of contracts, including sales contracts, vendor contracts, and software licenses. The Corporate Counsel will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, and Finance, to ensure all contracts are compliant with company policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including sales contracts, vendor contracts, and software licenses

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Legal, and Finance, to ensure all contracts are compliant with company policies and procedures

  • Develop and maintain contract templates and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Drive automation and efficiency across legal and business operations to streamline processes

  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries and issues

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to support the sales process by providing guidance on contract terms and conditions

  • Manage the contract review and approval process, ensuring timely execution of contracts

  • Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on contract processes and procedures

  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and customers

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; JD from an accredited U.S. law school a plus

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in a SaaS company or technology-focused environment

  • Strong knowledge of contract law, regulations, and best practices

  • Fair, strong, concise, and balanced negotiation skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience with contract management software

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
