Job description

Analyst Relations Manager

As an Analyst Relations Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for key industry analysts and influencers in the fintech and accounts receivable spaces, including engaging with key industry analysts, managing relationships, and facilitating report inclusions, product briefings, message testing, and inquiries with research firms such as Gartner and IDC. In addition, you will manage analyst participation in Billtrust webinars and events as well as engaging analysts in the creation of joint research studies and collateral. You will work to build and maintain strong relationships with analysts, ensuring that our company is well-positioned in industry reports, rankings, and evaluations. Your responsibilities will include coordinating product briefings, inquiries, and report inclusions while influencing how the company is positioned in competitive reports. You will be reporting directly to the Senior Director of Product Marketing and will work closely with leadership, product teams, and marketing to align our messaging and strategy with analyst expectations.

What You'll Do:

Analyst Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry analysts and influencers, particularly those focused on fintech, accounts receivable, and financial technologies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for analyst inquiries, briefings, and engagement opportunities.
  • Schedule and coordinate product briefings and inquiries to ensure accurate and timely communication of our product developments, market trends, and value propositions.

Positioning and Influence:

  • Proactively influence analysts' perceptions and positioning of our company in competitive reports like the Magic Quadrant and other influential market evaluations.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and executive teams to align company strategy with analyst expectations and ensure that our product strengths are highlighted in analyst reports.
  • Work to improve our placement and visibility in key industry reports, using data, insights, and narratives to shape the conversation.

Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor and share insights from analyst reports, competitive reviews, and industry trends to keep the company informed on positioning and market perception.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on insights from analyst feedback and market evaluations.

Content and Messaging Development:

  • Advise and manage analyst participation in Billtrust webinars, events and promotional activities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and analysts on joint research initiatives and content creation that will further Billtrust’s thought leadership
  • Create briefing materials, competitive analysis, and other content that supports engagement with analysts and ensures accurate representation of the company’s capabilities.
  • Develop compelling narratives and presentations for analysts, showcasing our products, vision, and competitive advantages in the accounts receivable and fintech space.

Report Tracking and Coordination:

  • Coordinate all aspects of report inclusion and evaluation cycles, ensuring that the company is considered for key reports and receives accurate coverage.
  • Track and manage deadlines for analyst evaluations and ensure timely delivery of materials to analysts.

Collaboration and Alignment:

  • Work closely with the senior leadership, product, and marketing teams to ensure that messaging, product developments, and positioning align with analyst expectations.
  • Act as an internal advocate for analyst insights, ensuring that feedback is communicated effectively and incorporated into broader business strategies.

What You'll Bring:

Experience:

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience, preferably within the fintech, finance, or accounts receivable industries.
  • Experience working with partners and professional services teams, including developing enablement programs, messaging, and content.
  • A solid understanding of accounts receivable processes, financial operations, or related fields within the finance industry.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of product marketing principles, including go-to-market strategy, competitive analysis, and product positioning.
  • Ability to translate complex product features into clear, compelling messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in writing and presenting to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product management, sales, and partner teams to drive alignment and execute strategies.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.

 Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Knowledge of financial technologies, particularly accounts receivable or payment processing solutions, is a significant advantage.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use analytics to measure and refine marketing strategies.

The expected base salary range for this position is $75,400 - $95,700 annually.

Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Further details will be provided by our Talent Acquisition team during the interview process.
