Travel Percentage:    Up to 25%

NatureBridge provides environmental science education experiences for more than 30,000 students and their teachers every year in the world’s best classrooms: our National Parks. What You Will Do:

You will report to the Director of Individual Giving and support them in sustaining and growing a strong base of individual funders to support NatureBridge campuses and initiatives.  You will partner with and manage other fundraising leads on our team, including Campus Directors at each of our four campuses nationwide, and our Event Manager. You will also work with Regional Board members, and the development team to generate contributed revenue through individual and major donors. 

This position is fully remote. There will be occasional travel to support fundraising events and meetings.

Your primary job will be to:

  • Cultivate our portfolio of existing donors and identify new donors to grow our portfolio over time.
  • Develop relationships with assigned donors and prospects through in-person & virtual meetings, as well as written communication.
  • Establish and maintain respectful, supportive and compassionate relationships with staff, volunteers and participants.
  • Manage and support Regional Board members and Campus Directors in fundraising activity through all aspects of the gift cycle.
  • Partner with the Event Manager to deliver national fundraising events, support the guest management team and guest experience components, including post-event close-out and stewardship
  • Manage small cultivation and stewardship events
  • Use and maintain Raiser’s Edge database for major donor portfolio management, tracking, cultivation, recognition, and accountability; make recommendations for improvement to our systems based on best practices.
  • Partner with the Development Team to create a culture of philanthropy that emphasizes excellent relationship building to raise high-end annual support and major gifts.
  • Create proposals and other collateral 
  • Work with Development and Communications staff to strategize on and deliver mission-centric, cost-effective events and communications
  • Contribute to board reports and represent the development team at board meetings.

 

Compensation:

  • $65,000 - $70,000

  • Knowledge of national philanthropic trends & best practices
