Job description

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Design and develop automated tests for new business critical flows.
  • Maintain existing automated tests.
  • Enhance automation framework to meet ongoing demand and new tools and technology.
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with internal product development teams.
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen.
  • Collaborate with other product teams, sharing QA automation best practices and testing frameworks to promote standardization across the firm.
  • Able to communicate effectively across multiple workstream leads, geographies, and product management.
  • Thorough Understanding of modern software development processes including development process lifecycle, Agile development methodologies, etc.
Minimum Degree Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science
Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
  • 4+ years of experience in design and implementation of automated testing using Selenium with Python, Java/C#, JavaScript, Angular, REST APIs, jQuery, Entity framework and LINQ Query.
  • Knowledge/experience in BDD.
  • Able to build, maintain and grow test automation infrastructure.
  • Experience with CI/CD.
  • Experience with API automation.
  • Experience in source control using tools like git, TFS, Azure DevOps, JIRA, etc.
  • Familiar with Test reporting framework and be able to extend using extent/Allure.
  • Familiar with SQL to write & execute queries against Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle database platforms.
  • Familiar with Performance testing (using JMeter).
