Python developer with data engineering skills

Our client, a leading global IT service provider, is recruiting for a Python developer with data engineering skills to join their business in Poland / Spain.

Responsibilities:

• The ASSIST Team (Artificial Intelligence Support System for the Identification of Solutions and Templates) is looking for a Python developer with data engineering skills
  

• ASSIST is a set of decision support tools which aim to:
  

• reduce regulatory compliance risk
  

• increase documentation quality
  

• increase efficiency when handling complaints on Client's Diagnostics products
  

• In ASSIST, we are using AI technologies such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) to achieve the goals mentioned above.
  

Practical skills required(Must Have):

• 5+ years of professional experience, coding in Python
  

• Experience With Best Software Engineering Practices, Including Unit Testing, Package Publishing, Code Reviews, Code Linting; Ability To Structure And Maintain An Emerging Solution Code Into Well Engineered Software Products
  

• Good Knowledge Of Sql, Relational Databases And Data Warehouses
  

Should Have Skills:

• 1+ years of experience in data pipelines development and maintenance
  

• 1+ years of experience in working with data architecture concepts (any of the following: data modeling, metadata management, workflow management, ETL/ELT, real-time streaming, data quality)
  

• Practical Knowledge Of Gitlab Ci, To Automate Development And Release Processes
  

• Practical Knowledge Of Docker, To Ship Python Solutions As Images
  

• Understanding Of Ml Lifecycle
  

• Experience With, Or Willingness To Learn Snowflake
  

• Experience with, or willingness to learn DataOps.live or dbt
  

Nice to Have: 

• Good Overview Of Aws Services To Design Cloud Solutions
  

• Aws Sagemaker Pipelines, Endpoint, Model Registry
  

• Aws Cloudformation Or Similar Iac Tools
  

• Mulesoft Or Other Api Gateway
