Job Summary

Are you passionate about using data and strategic thinking to optimize Supply Chain Operations in eCommerce? Join our team and leverage your extensive knowledge of Supply Chain and S&OP processes in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) sector to drive strategic improvements, address performance gaps, and ensure the long-term success of eCommerce initiatives. Your strong stake holder management and automation skills will enhance planning processes, reduce bias, and lower supply chain costs while increasing revenue. As a change agent, you'll lead the way with a consumer-centric, analytical, and detail-oriented approach, along with program management expertise in Supply Chain. Join us in driving efficiency and success in eCommerce supply chain operations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Program Management 60%:

  • Change Management: Manage a portfolio of programs, prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of high-impact projects across functions.
  • Project Ownership: Take charge of key projects aimed at enhancing analytical knowledge around e-commerce supply chain processes, focusing on increasing Supply Chain accuracy, bias and fill rate.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement long-term strategic plans for automation and increase the use of analytics in the Supply Chain.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Supply Chain, including executives and department heads, to understand their needs, communicate findings, and promote data and analytics usage across the organization.
  • Efficiency Enhancement: Identify opportunities to standardize, outsource, and automate repetitive work, managing the outsourcing budget for maximum ROI and advocating for investments in people, technology, and infrastructure to advance fast decision-making.

Data Analytics/ Process Improvement 40%:

  • Forecasting: Analyze and address eCommerce forecasting gaps and fill disparities, utilizing advanced techniques to enhance demand planning inputs. Identify and implement pilot projects to improve analytical approaches to boost supply chain accuracy, reduce costs, and drive indirect revenue.
  • Performance Measurement: Develop KPI and regularly monitor and assess initiatives using metrics to ensure success, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Data Mastery: Be the go-to person for querying, manipulating, and visualizing data using tools like R, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Automation Expert: Harness your expertise to build Excel programs with Macros and automate connections to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) through tools like Windschuttle.
  • Subject Matter Expert Reporting: Offer insights and best practices for building reports, optimizing data structures, and automation. Effectively communicate results through regular reporting on strategic initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Supply Chain team to scope, develop, manage, and execute supply chain processes unique to E-commerce, enhancing accuracy and alignment with customer.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, sharing insights with colleagues.

Education and Experience Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in fields heavy in statistics math, such as Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain, required; Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA highly desired.
  • 5-8 years of involvement in Supply Chain with a focus on S&OP and CPFR.
  • Six Sigma black belt or Lean credentials are highly desired.
  • 3-5 years of SQL experience for data extraction and transformation, 3-5 years of experience using VBA, Windschuttle, or other automation tools for operational efficiency, and 5-8 years of experience turning data into actionable insights.
  • Previous experience in CPG and eCommerce is highly desired.

Required Skills

  • Proficient in producing business reports using SQL databases.
  • Proficiency in a subset of SQL, VBA macros, Windschuttle or Microsoft BI.
  • Strong program management abilities for collecting and driving data engineering projects with IT.
  • Thorough understanding of the problem-solving cycle and exceptional analytical skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple large processes concurrently, following Kotter's 8 steps.
  • Proficiency in leading and managing multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to accomplish tasks through others, even without a direct reporting relationship.
  • Experience in presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Capability to interact effectively with diverse at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with amazon vendor central ordering process or Chewy ordering process.
