Summary
Responsible for providing customer service and support to assist Producers and service team in supporting existing accounts.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Supports brokers in maintaining new and renewal files and generating reports;
- Reviews client accounting history, responds to accounting inquiries, and corrects account discrepancies including assisting in collections on past due accounts;
- Secures premium financing, upon request;
- Collaborates with surplus lines department to ensure timely filing of paperwork;
- Coordinates certificate of insurance requests;
- Creates summaries of insurance;
- Tracks policy checking status and transmittals;
- Ensures transaction invoicing, including renewals, endorsements, cancellations, etc.;
- Composes correspondence to insured and/or brokers;
- Creates letters, and other forms of correspondence;
- Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
1-2 years related work experience;
Valid insurance license a plus
Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor
