What Finance Does At Worldwide

The Finance Team supports a wide array of business teams in overseeing and enhancing the financial landscape. The finance team provides a comprehensive approach to financial management, strategic planning, and fostering collaborative relationships across various departments.

What You Will Do

  • Compilation and recording of general ledger journals
    • Complex payroll journals
    • Bank transactions
    • Accruals
    • Amortization of prepayments
  • Reconciliation and maintenance of payroll liability accounts
    • Correction of errors and mis-postings
    • Evidencing outstanding liabilities
    • Reporting and explaining changes in month-end liabilities
  • Responding to queries raised by the wider finance team
  • Assisting with financial year-end audit requirements and fiscal year reporting requirements
  • Assisting with the professional development of other members of the team
  • Actively seek areas for continuous improvement of processes and reporting
What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Excellent time management skills with ability to work within tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality at all times

Your background

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working within a finance department
  • Sound understanding of complex double-entry bookkeeping
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong command of business English, both written and verbal
