EQ is looking for an experienced US Payroll tax specialist to assist with the following:
- Research and resolve number of complex issues with respect to State payroll tax compliance resulting from the merger of two businesses including registrations, transfers and closures of accounts
- Work independently with our external consultants PwC and OSV in payroll tax compliance projects to resolve ongoing issues
- Review and rectify Workday set up to identify payroll tax set up issues
- Review existing processes and establish best practice steps in relation to payroll tax compliance
- Resolve outstanding payroll tax related cases with third party payroll provider OSV
Experience
- US Payroll Tax Compliance experience
- Experience in mergers / transfers / closures related to payroll tax compliance
- Ability to work independently
- Significant experience in US Payroll tax compliance matters particularly to do with mergers / transactions
- Experience in Workday payroll preferred
Compensation: $60.00 - $65.00 hourly
