Job Description:

  • As an Prospecting Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through cold calls and engaging potential clients. Your primary goal will be to identify prospects, uncover their needs through strategic discovery questions, and schedule appointments for our sales team. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and ensuring the success of our future sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound cold calls to targeted prospects to generate new business opportunities.
  • Protect assigned territories by identifying potential clients and developing strategies to engage them effectively.
  • Utilize discovery questions to define opportunities and understand the unique needs of each prospect.
  • Schedule appointments for the sales team to present our products/services and close deals.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, prospects, and scheduled appointments in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and share insights from your outreach efforts.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly quotas for calls, appointments, and new business leads.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an inside sales role, with a focus on cold calling and prospecting for new business.
  • Strong understanding of territory management and the ability to protect and grow assigned territories.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to engage prospects through effective questioning and active listening.
  • Comfortable with outbound dialing multiple times a day and handling rejection.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage prospects and track performance.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
