Overview:

We are currently looking for someone to join our dynamic Leadership Team in the role of Personal Support Manager.  The primary role of the Personal Support Manager is to provide effective coordination and supervision of the delivery of Community Health Services. 

 

This is a Full-Time One Year contract position. Hours of work will be Monday-Friday as well as participation in the Branch Manager On-Call, which includes evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.

What The Role Involves:

Our leadership team plays a critical role in providing high quality patient care, mentoring our health care teams and inspiring others.

  • Provides coordination, supervision, and coaching to the Community Support Workers in the field.
  • Develops and maintains an effective Care Plan with respect to Community Health Services, independently or in cooperation with the Ontario Health atHome.
  • Keeps abreast of policies outlined in the Regulated Health Professions Act and Community Health Services best practices and monitoring employee performance.
  • Promotes and markets Community Health Services and maintains positive public relations.
  • Provides active guidance for workplace Health and Safety.
  • Performs other duties as required.
What You Bring:
  • A strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of their patients
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours, such as early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle
  • Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program
  • To protect our patients, we require current vulnerable sector check screening, a clear background check

New Ontario PSW grads may be eligible to * receive a $10,000 bonus**

* from an approved PSW program in Ontario (on or after April 1, 2024)

** in exchange for a commitment to work with us in a Full-Time position for 12 months, payable at 6 months and 12 months

and an additional $10,000 relocation bonus***

*** when relocating to rural, remote or northern area and committing to working with us for 12 months, payable at start and 6 months
