This is a remote position.

Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Check insurance eligibility and benefits
Create and electronically send out claims weekly.
Accurately post payments with zero errors.
Check responses from payers daily for denials, rejections, and partial payments
Research cause of non-payment.
Correct and re-bill those claims rejected or denied
Run assigned reports daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
Prepare letters to be sent to customers about billing issues or amounts owed privately.
Other on-going duties as assigned.
Other short-term projects as assigned.
Submit time worked and list of tasks completed daily.

Experience in home health care billing and collections
Experience with CPT codes, CMS form 1500, HIPAA, G Codes, HIPPS codes, PAR (prior authorization request), co-pays, ICD-10 codes, etc.
Experience billing common USA payers including Medicare, United Healthcare, BCBS (Blue Cross Blue Shield), Medicaid, Humana Tango, etc.
Proficient with Excel, Word, Zoom, Outlook
