Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00AM-5:30PM - USA Pacific time frames (west coast) / 1:00 am – 9:30 am PH Time

We are seeking a motivated Social Media Assistant to support our social media marketing efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing manager and the marketing team to execute social media strategies, create engaging content, and interact with our audience across various platforms. This role is perfect for someone passionate about social media, creative content creation, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic marketing environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT
Responsibilities as a Social Media Assistant:
• Assist in the implementation of social media strategies to increase brand awareness,
engagement, and drive traffic to our platforms.
• Create and curate content for social media posts, including graphics, videos, and written content, adhering to brand guidelines and voice.
• Schedule and publish social media posts using management tools such as meta business.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and engage with followers to build and maintain a positive community.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content creation and strategy.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate social media efforts with other marketing initiatives and campaigns.
• Assist in analyzing social media performance metrics, track key KPIs, and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and updates in social media platforms and tools, and share relevant insights with the team.
• Assist in identifying and building relationships with influencers, partners, and relevant communities to expand brand reach.
Qualifications as a Social Media Assistant:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Previous experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing is preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Creative thinker with a passion for creating engaging content and storytelling.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and industry trends.
• Familiarity with graphic design, video editing, or photography is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for social media marketing and a proactive attitude towards personal and professional development.
