Join a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers — and help us connect people and build communities to create economic opportunity for all.

As a Senior Financial Analyst in Corporate Functions, you will be a finance leader in our world-class finance organization! What You Will Accomplish:

  • Manage financial budgeting and forecasting as well as close and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Serve as a valuable business partner & challenger interacting and providing financial planning and decision support to business stakeholders.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain insightful reporting for senior leadership to enable optimal financial management of their area of the business.
  • Standardize and drive consistency in financial planning processes and strive for continuous improvement, identify, and execute on opportunities to reduce non-value-added work.
  • Partner with the eBay’s accounting team for quarter-end close reporting, driving internal processes to maintain and improve predictability of financial results.
  • Assist in project-based initiatives to drive operating efficiencies across functions.

What You Will Bring:

  • Dedicated to eBay's Hybrid Work Model working out of an office 3 days per week. Eligible offices include San Jose, CA, Draper/SLC UT, or Austin, TX.
  • Candidates for this position will have 3+ years of progressive financial planning & analysis and management experience.
  • Experienced finance professional with FP&A expertise, and progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility with business leaders.
  • Track record of collaborating and influencing partners across the organization.
  • Experience with financial systems such as SAP BPC, SAP BW, Anaplan or equivalent.
  • Desire to succeed in a fast-paced and deadline orientated environment.
  • Strong financial modelling capability, highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and financial planning systems.
  • Excellent decision-making skills, ability to identify, prioritize and articulate the highest impact initiatives.
  • Effective communication skills to connect with senior executives and internal business partners.
