The Role 

Moderna is expanding to further our mission of delivering the greatest possible impact to people through mRNA medicines!

We are looking to hire experienced Product Managers who lead from a customer-first product mindset and embody the Moderna Mindsets with a passion to change the future of medicine. In this role, you will work on exciting, cutting-edge technology and build initiatives/products from the ground up to empower our drive our product roadmaps across the organization, with the ultimate goal of transforming patients’ lives. 

Here’s What You’ll Do 

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver on Moderna’s revolutionary Individualized Neoantiogen Therapy digital products and services for patients and providers, serving both internal and external (providers, CROs) customers and users. 

  • Define and drive product strategy and roadmap

  • Develop product solutions to execute on the market potential and benefits possible from applying Moderna’s technologies in the enterprise market 

  • Convert solution ideas into action through stories, mockups, and prototypes, bridging the gap between idea and product 

  • Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly 

  • Connect the technical and business worlds 

  • Break down complex problems into steps that drive product development 

  • Deeply understand the digital health and pharma ecosystem markets, competition, and user requirements 

  • Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions 

Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications) 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, software engineering, industrial engineering, or a field tied to the product sector OR 5 years of equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree. 

  • A minimum of 9 years of relevant job experience in digital product management, with focus on digital health or pharma.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, UX, Program management. 

  • Experience working in an Agile SDLC with experience leading the entire product discovery effort, creating both functional and technical user stories 

  • Experience managing the development of regulated digital products (GCP, GXP, ISO 13485, IEC 62304)

  • Ability to quickly learn and take the lead on managing highly sophisticated technical products and systems including ML based algorithms.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications) 

  • Experience building and launching technology products and platforms at scale 

  • Experience building products from concept to production 

  • Strong domain knowledge in one of the following areas: AI and Analytics, Digital Health ideally but not necessarily within pharma and healthcare.

  • Acquaintance with the US health system, having delivered products to physicians, patients, payers, providers .

  • Experience working in life sciences, pharma/biotech, healthtech

  • Experience managing the development of regulated digital products (GCP, GXP, ISO 13485, IEC 62304)

  • Ability to quickly learn and take the lead on managing highly sophisticated technical products and systems including ML based algorithms.

  • Experience working in a matrixed organization

  • This role is based in our new LEED-certified HQ in Cambridge, MA and is expected to be in office 70% of the time with flexibility to work from home up to 30%.
