Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$126,000 - $195,800

The Associate Director – Strategy and Growth will report to the VP of Strategy and Growth with accountability for identifying and evaluating potentially transformative BD opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Work with the strategy and growth team to identify and assess potentially transformational business development opportunities
Conduct rigorous analyses and distill into meaningful insights, collaborating with scientific, commercial, and finance experts across Lilly
Develop materials that succinctly articulate robust perspectives based on qualitative and quantitative assessment and communicate to relevant cross-functional stakeholders
Basic Qualifications:
Graduate degree in relevant field (MBA, PhD, MS) with 1+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry including significant experience in drug discovery and development OR BS with 3+ years as previously described.

Able to establish credibility and trust across Lilly scientific functions, commercial teams, finance leadership, and executive management
Deep knowledge of industry pipelines, commercial portfolios, trends, and transactions

Strong passion for pharmaceutical innovation
Self-starter with bias to action. Excellent self-management and organizational skills
