Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Chessington World of Adventures Resort Leatherhead Road Chessington Surrey KT9 2NE

Here at Chessington World of Adventures we are recruiting for a Technician to join our Facilities team!

You will help to maintain the facilities and equipment right across the Resort carrying out preventive works both back and front of house, as well as responding to breakdown calls and carrying out corrective works. This is a full time role, working between the hours of 6:00am – 10:30pm on a rolling shift pattern.

You will be a key member of the team in ensuring all facilities and equipment is maintained to a high standard, whilst following our health and safety guidelines, making sure our guests continue to have a memorable day at the Resort.

With this being an all-round facilities role, we welcome any skills and experience you may have, and whilst providing you all the training you need to succeed.

• You will have completed a trade-based apprenticeship or be qualified to HNC/BTEC level or equivalent, in a building trades/services discipline.
• Recognised qualification in woodwork or on-site joinery desired.
• A multi-trades background is preferred, and we would expect you to have good working knowledge of associated regulations and legislation.
• A people’s person, friendly and a real team player, happy to engage with the public and deliver an excellent level of customer service.
• Ability to work using own initiative, displaying sound decision-making skills; whilst also being able to thrive in a team environment.
