Job description

Responsible for managing and driving growth for a named set of key OEM accounts in the Power Efficiency Solutions (PES) segment of Regal Rexnord.  This position will require a strong, self-directed individual having the ability to develop meaningful business relationships within all functions and at all levels throughout our customer base.   

PES is one of three operating segments with approximately $1.7 Billion in revenue and produces electric motors, variable speed controls, and air moving solutions which are sold in the residential heating and ventilating, water heating, commercial refrigeration, pump, leisure water, and other OEM and aftermarket products. Brands include Genteq® motors, as well as Fasco®, Elco®, DEC Star®, Leeson, motor and blowers.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with Business and Sales Leadership to develop strategic territory plan to achieve sales and margin growth goals in alignment with BU plans 

  • Provide strategic communication link between customers and Regal Rexnord business leadership 

  • Create and maintain detailed account Plan for each account location 

  • Lead negotiations/business agreements with key accounts in the territory 

  • Support PES Segment Policy Deployment (strategic planning) and 80/20 initiatives 

  • Lead customer value add productivity projects 

  • Conduct regular review of growth deck opportunities with customers (Project Reviews) and PES business and Sales leadership teams 

  • Development of plans & value propositions for solution-selling to overcome the price objection 

  • Highly-engaged use of CRM to manage and report on growth opportunities & projects 

  • Utilization of CRM to manage activities in support of the customer relationship 

  • Create opportunities for strategic involvement of business/functional team members at key locations in territory 

  • Timely forecast inputs into Demantra in support  of BU and Group-level revenue commitments 

  • Timely response to BU or Sales Leadership requests for critical information 

  • Support and successful execution of any internal Regal Rexnord product simplification or restructuring initiatives 

  • Prompt execution and implementation of all price actions as defined by BU 

  • Ensure prompt response to customer issues including sample testing on customer applications 

  • Presentation of proposals and quotes to customers and ensure adherence to pricing strategy defined by business 

  • Participate in product training and Business Unit strategy/planning meetings as necessary 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of relevant experience 

  • 7+ years industry sales experience   

  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 

  • High level of personal initiative and ownership of results 

  • Strong computer skills – Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint Outlook & Teams) 

  • Ability to work independently and remotely 

  • Must reside in territory 

Desired Qualifications:   

  • Demonstrable track record of strong commercial leadership and achievement of sales goals 

  • Experience with CRM and forecasting tools 

  • Experience with concepts of 80/20 and Lean Management
