WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB:
The American Red Cross is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Fundraising & Marketing Technology Group (FMTG) in supporting applications that help to deliver ARC’s mission to “prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.”
In this role, you will be responsible for driving personalized experiences to enhance customer engagement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute personalized content strategies, leveraging data-driven insights and Adobe’s technology stack. As an Adobe Platform Developer, you will manage customer journeys and personalization efforts throughout the Red Cross flagship sites, redcross.org and RedCrossBlood.org, and work closely with marketing team members to determine a strategy for identity recognition and personalization at scale. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a creative mindset.
The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference to work East Coast or Central hours.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, analytics, and IT, to define personalization goals, requirements, and KPIs.
• Develop and execute personalized content strategies across Adobe's digital platforms.
• Utilize Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, including Adobe Target, Analytics, Data Collection (tags), and Adobe Customer Data Platform (CDP) to implement and optimize personalized experiences.
• Work with the user experience and testing team to plan and implement new user experiences.
• Work with stakeholders to help explain personalization and get ideas for future tests, etc.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in customer data management and marketing technology.
Scope: Individual contributor that works under limited supervision. Apply subject matter knowledge. Capacity to understand specific needs or requirements to apply skills/knowledge.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications):
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, marketing, digital media, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience working as a software developer, data engineer, or related role, focusing on marketing technology, personalization, and optimization.
• Proficiency with Adobe Experience Cloud, including Data Collection (tags), Target, Adobe Experience Manager/ Adobe Experience Cloud, experience with Adobe Customer Data Platform a plus.
• 5+ years of experience developing applications using JavaScript.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of driving successful outcomes in optimizing customer journeys.
• Knowledge and experience with conversion rate optimization.
• Experience with agile methodology and project management tools is a plus

PAY INFORMATION:
The starting annual salary range for this position is $120K - $130K. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role.
Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. **We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.**
