Your role will bridge the gap between security initiatives and business goals, ensuring that our projects are secure, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify risks, design secure systems, enforce policies, and stay ahead of emerging threats.

Responsibilities

  • Support the vulnerability management exception process and perform risk assessments.

Security Design:

  • Lead the design of secure systems and controls in collaboration with the Corporate Technology (CT) and CT Security Engineering teams.
  • Develop security reference architectures for Veeam infrastructure.

Policy Enforcement:

  • Ensure compliance with security standards and policies across the organization.
  • Update security controls and standards to adapt to new threats and regulatory requirements.

Architecture Review:

  • Attend and actively participate in architecture review meetings.
  • Ensure security controls are considered and integrated in all projects and changes.

Support Processes:

  • Support the application review, proxy request, and firewall request review processes.
  • Ensure security best practices are applied consistently across all evaluations.

Innovation:

  • Stay current with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Recommend innovative solutions to improve the organization's security posture.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with IT and various business units to integrate security measures effectively.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CCSP, SC-100, CISM, CRTSA, GDSA, TOGAF) are highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with a focus on security architecture and design.
  • Extensive knowledge of security frameworks, risk management methodologies, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Strong understanding of network security, application security, cloud security, and identity and access management.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing security architectures and reference models.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
