IT Concepts is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to support our VA-ESOM-End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial data for the IT Asset Management Business operations team. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders and contract management to ensure accurate financial oversight and compliance with agency protocols. The analyst will also lead the consolidation of financial information across various functions and maintain a commitment to quality and customer support through diligent monitoring and escalation of financial matters.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation, collection, compilation, review, and delivery of detailed planning, tracking analysis, and reporting of program financials.
- Interface with key stakeholders, contract management staff, and other components to ensure a complete financial picture of IT Asset Management Business operations team
- Coordinate with Agency Staff to develop cost / financial overview as per agency process and requirements including Congressional Request for Information (RFI) as needed.
- Lead a consolidated financial view of Assets across Logistics, Maintenance and Management including remediation efforts, financial metrics / KPIs and periodic audit.
- Follow defined escalation paths for dependencies to maintain baseline
- Lead the team through asset management financial information for compliance and data calls
- Collaborate with ESOM Contract Business Operations team members for effective IT HW asset management and forecast HW / SW asset equipment budget financials
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support through regular review and escalations of program financials
Location: This position can be performed in a remote working environment and will be supporting Eastern Time working hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in operations research, mathematics, computer science, Cost Accounting or related scientific or technical discipline. (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
- 5 years of experience with review of financial data to identify planned versus actual status. Must have experience in identifying risk areas and create narrative, graphic, and oral status reports.
- Ability to gather and compile cost data to accurately depict purchase cost, operations cost and overall life cycle costs of assets.
- Must have experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks.
- Experience performing professional accounting work that requires application of accounting theories, concepts, principles, and standards; analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with the management and control of assets, resource and/or funds.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Teams or similar workplace chat and videoconferencing tools.
- Effective coordination and attention to detail across multiple levels to ensure consistent and unified messaging in large organizations.
- Ability to provide sound advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff.
- Ability to manage competing tasks and easily works within and across teams.
- Financial artifacts, periodic reports updates and communication.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting a federal client.
- Section 508 conformance knowledge or experience
- Familiar with data visualization tools (example: Power BI).
Clearance requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
- Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder.
