Harbor is seeking a Senior Director of Solutions Marketing to join our growing team.  As the Senior Director of Solutions Marketing you will be uniquely positioned to help grow a world-class portfolio of solutions. This role has a tremendous impact on the company’s  market momentum by playing a key role in coordinating marketing, client engagement and service delivery teams to fuel organic growth.  

We seek someone who is passionate about positioning and value proposition messaging that resonates with our buyers, decision-makers and corporate executives. You are curious about the legal industry and the technologies that are transforming it. You learn what differentiates your services from competitors and can distill that information into simple, informative, and easy-to-understand messaging. You are driven to enable client-facing teams for success by creating quality materials that deliver clear stories through client narratives. 

We want an evangelist who loves the solutions they support and can energize and rally internal teams around a common execution plan to achieve agreed goals. A people-leader with strong management skills, capable of mentoring and leading a team of high-performing marketers. Someone that is adaptable to the styles and needs of different stakeholders – leadership, sales, solution management, marketing, and other operational teams. About the Role: 
As Senior Director, Solutions Marketing, your role includes: 
  • Value Proposition Definition: Create and evolve messaging and positioning strategies that drive growth. Draft and maintain value statements, pitch decks, enablement materials, web and other content aligned to the service value drivers. 
  • Differentiate:  Ensure our value proposition and messaging differentiate our services portfolio in the marketplace, resonate with our target customers, and support our broader company vision and objectives. 
  • Collaborate:  Maintain close collaboration and partnership with the client engagement teams, delivery teams, marketing, and partners to drive pipeline targets, and expansion. Work closely with marketing colleagues to generate demand by providing key messaging documents and guidance on in-market campaigns.
  • Maximize New Bookings/Revenue: Identify and execute marketing activities to drive inbound business from target market segments, serving both top-of-funnel and funnel conversion, and resulting in increased new bookings. 
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage advanced analytics to optimize performance and measure success. 
  • Team Building: Be a part of an inspiring team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
About You:

You’re a fit for the role of Senior Director, Solutions Marketing if your background includes:

  • 10+ years in Solutions Marketing
  • Proven ability to set annual and quarterly plans and prioritize team projects and workload. 
  • Demonstrated ability to understand commercial, technological, and strategic drivers to build and execute multi-year strategy. 
  • Demonstrated prior experience setting and driving successful delivery of complex solutions marketing campaigns. Including the drafting and writing of position papers, value proposition statement and writing marketing collateral.  
  • Experience leading cross-functional agile teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and multi-channel marketing programs. 
  • Effective stakeholder management in complex, matrixed leadership structures. 
  • Proven ability to establish a broad vision and take ideas from concept through to completion. 
    Ability to understand and interpret fundamental workings and trends within the legal industry 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MBA Preferred.
