Job description

This is a remote position.

ITTConnect is seeking a Data Architect to work remotely for a client in the US. This is a new position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries. Their client is in the Cruise / Travel Industry.

Job location: Remote, work from home anywhere in the United States, following the Eastern time zone .

We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills.

Requirements

Ability to understand complex business problems and leverage the appropriate technologies and architecture. 
Review and analyze the organization's data infrastructure (data flow and technologies) to support business goals
Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, data solution architecture, and data pipeline design.
Experience working with structured and unstructured data using batch and real time architectures. 
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) & cloud services (like EMR, Lambda, S3, Kinesis, MWAA etc.), to manage and integrate data systems.
Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark, Presto etc.).
Experience leading data warehousing and analytics projects using technologies such as Snowflake, and Redshift.
Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CICD frameworks such as Terraform and Jenkins in cloud-based environments.
