We are seeking a dedicated Health Benefits Enrollment Specialist with a strong background in healthcare and a passion for helping patients navigate and maximize their health benefits. This role focuses on engaging with medically complex patients to ensure they fully understand and utilize their insurance benefits, fostering improved health outcomes. Compensation and Benefits for Health Benefits Enrollment Specialist

• Base Salary: $35,000 - $55,000 annually (not including commission)
  

• Time Off: 3 weeks paid time away (2 weeks + 6-7 federal holidays)
  

• Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits
  

Responsibilities for Health Benefits Enrollment Specialist

• Conduct 80% outbound calls to engage patients in understanding and accessing their health insurance benefits, particularly Medicaid plans.
  

• Educate patients on the value of engaging with their benefits and how it impacts their health and wellness.
  

• Utilize motivational and persuasive communication techniques to encourage patient enrollment and adherence to health programs.
  

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient interactions to improve engagement strategies and outcomes.
  

Qualifications for Health Benefits Enrollment Specialist

• Experience: Minimum of 1+ years in a healthcare or insurance-related role, with prior experience in patient or customer engagement.
  

• Knowledge: Familiarity with Medicaid and other healthcare systems, including medical terminology.
  

• Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and customer service abilities. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding engagement or enrollment targets.
  

• Preferred: Bilingual proficiency to better serve diverse patient populations.
