This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor

Working Conditions:

Monday to Friday
8am to 5pm London Time with an hour unpaid break

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team and lead our efforts in automating processes and integrating systems across various platforms. This role requires a technology-savvy individual with a deep understanding of automation tools and platforms, excellent communication skills, and the ability to both execute and coordinate automation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and experience managing contractors and part-time specialists for advanced automation and development tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, Develop, and Maintain Automation Workflows:

Create and optimize workflows using platforms like Zapier, Zoho Flow, and Make.com to improve operational efficiency.
API Integrations and Custom Development:

Implement and manage API integrations, webhooks, and custom functions using tools such as Zoho Creator, Deluge scripting, and custom coding where needed.
Cross-Platform Automation Expertise:

Utilize platforms like ChatGPT, Phantombuster, RapidAPI, and Apify for advanced integrations and data processing.
Messaging API Management:

Set up and manage two-way messaging APIs, including Twilio and WhatsApp Business API, for customer and internal communications.
Team Coordination and Outsourcing:
- Identify areas requiring external expertise and hire, onboard, and manage part-time contractors or specialists.
- Oversee the quality of work delivered by external team members to ensure it aligns with project requirements and standards.
Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:

Quickly resolve technical issues and identify opportunities for further automation and process improvement.
Documentation and Training:

Document workflows, integrations, and best practices while training team members on the use and maintenance of automation systems.

Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:
- Advanced proficiency in automation platforms such as Zapier, Zoho Flow, Make.com, and Zoho Creator.
- Experience with Deluge scripting, custom functions, and webhooks in Zapier and Zoho Creator.
- Solid understanding of API integrations and platforms like RapidAPI and Apify.
Experience in Related Tools:

Knowledge of tools like Clay, Phantombuster, and AI solutions like ChatGPT for workflow optimization. Experience with Zoho Creator and related Zoho tools.
Project Management Skills:

Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects while coordinating with external resources.
Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with two-way messaging APIs, including Twilio and WhatsApp Business API.
Proven track record of delivering complex automation projects.
