Securonix is looking for a Sr. Manager of Brand & Communications to develop and implement our communications strategy. Responsibilities include planning, development, implementation of all internal and external communications programs including PR, brand management, advertising, creative content, website management, thought leadership, social and corporate event strategies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams at both strategic and tactical levels to ensure brand, message, positioning and communications are cohesive and support the overall corporate objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Create, implement and measure the success of a comprehensive communications strategy that will enhance brand awareness, reputation and position within our marketplace
- Develop and promote the mission, vision and brand identity; ensure all internal and external communications adhere to brand guidelines
- Conduct relevant market research to measure brand reputation, monitor trends and adjust the brand strategy as appropriate
- Develop and execute the centralized editorial, thought leadership and advertising calendar; ensure alignment of event, social and campaign strategies
- Manage the strategic and creative design of marketing communications activities and materials including advertising, website, thought leadership, social media, video production, live and virtual events, and external presentations
- Own the website and content marketing strategy and work collaboratively with product marketing and global demand generation team
- Measure and report on the impact of communications and campaigns through earned, owned, and social media channels
- Coordinate media interest in Securonix and ensure regular contact with target media, editorial boards, press and appropriate response to media requests
- Manage external PR, digital and creative agencies
- Partner with the People and Culture Team and Executive Leadership to develop best practices for internal communications
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or other business-related field
- Corporate Marketing Experience required
- 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS companies, with a focus on internal communications, PR, content creation, progressive digital and multi-media marketing experience
- Knowledge and familiarity with all forms of existing and emerging communications opportunities across web, email, and social media platforms
- Strong interpersonal, communications and organizational skills, effective writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines
- Excellent writing, positioning, messaging and collateral development skills
- Ability to inspire and foster innovation, collaboration, transparency and team effectiveness.
- Technical skills: Google Suite, social media platform, web platforms, project management systems, content management systems
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Must be high energy, passionate and have a positive “can-do” attitude
