We are seeking a Sales Executive, Technical Clinical Solutions to join IQVIA laboratory business Remotely.
IQVIA is looking for a driven and experienced BD professional to propel BioFortis business to the next level. The individual should possess strong intellect and analytical capability and with the ability to define, conceptualize and, ultimately, sell, our clinical technology solution portfolio. The individual will need to display strong ‘hunting’ skills, build new relationships, as well as expanding opportunity within the existing client base. In addition, the individual is also expected to have solutioning mindset to build tailored offerings to client need. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and, consequently, an established network within the markets of relevance would be advantageous.
This is a critical appointment, not only focused on increasing our client portfolio through successful sales and business development, but who will develop trusted relationships with client for lasting partnerships. The key will be effectively harnessing its integrated solutions portfolio in such a way as to move beyond transactional, reactive sales activity to shape understanding around the IQVIA expanded platform. Inevitably, this will necessitate positioning the end to end offering discussions to a higher level with existing and future clients. The appropriate drive and resilience will be reflected in a track record of R&D/Clinical and business development contribution in past roles.
The Sales Executive, BioFortis will be required to work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues to increase sales within the BioFortis team.
Responsibilities include full cycle sales including target identification, securing, and managing client meetings, listening and understanding client needs, addressing client concerns/objections, managing Subject Matter Experts in defining opportunities, proposing solutions, negotiating, obtaining SOWs and closing the deal.
Our Sales Professionals are expected to quickly develop credibility with customers/prospects and build trust through professionalism and knowledge of services and products.
What you’ll be doing:
- Prospect accounts focusing on products and services.
- Identify and develop new accounts and follow up on existing leads.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with key target accounts.
- Manage assigned accounts to generate both incremental and repeatable annual business.
- Initiate and manage RFI and RFP process and negotiate terms for all account programs and projects.
- Collaborate with Executives and SMEs to maximize account coverage.
- Maintain good knowledge of IQVIA services for appropriate cross-sell opportunities.
- Account Management and Customer Success Function
What We Are Looking For:
- 15+ years of related experience, including relevant industry experience (CRO/Pharmaceutical) and sales experience required.
- Technology solution sales experience in the clinical space is preferred.
- Must demonstrate a sustained (10 + years) and successful track record selling professional services to Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device, and/or Clinical Research Organizations.
- Solid understanding of clinical trial management is essential.
- Demonstrated track record of success working with senior level management in a fast-paced growth environment is essential.
- Full sales cycle experience is required: Prospect, identify opportunities, Propose Solutions (writing proposals), Negotiate, Close
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Ambitious, driven and self-motivated personality adaptable to a fast-paced high volume and high velocity sales organization.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
- Strategic business awareness and analytical skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities.
- Ability to maintain demanding timelines.
- Willing to travel throughout the US, estimated up to 25%.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $107,900.00 - $200,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
