The team is seeking a Platform Solutions Engineer.  This person will design, implement, maintain and support automation and integrations related to a wide variety of technology.

What You Will Get To Do:

You will be responsible for working with multiple engineering teams and our architects to help develop automation and integrations with core platform systems. You must be able to understand the big picture needs of teams and work closely with them to find solutions ranging from platform migrations to implementation of new features.

  • Work closely with operating system, cloud, network and platform engineering teams to develop solutions
  • Quickly identify and characterize system functional issues, bugs and work with development and engineering to prioritize and validate fixes
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a global engineering team while maintaining Technology, Security and Control Standards
  • Work closely with the product teams which include Product Managers, Business Owners, Engineering and Development teams
  • Familiarity with system monitoring and telemetry. Ability to validate the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, including reviewing system and application logs, and monitoring capacities using system monitoring and telemetry tooling

What You Will Bring:

  • Strong DevOps experience
  • Ability to walk through design and implementation of automation jobs
  • Experience with system administration, such as provisioning and managing servers, deploying databases, security monitoring, system patching, and managing internal and external network connectivity
  • Continuous integration and continuous Delivery 
  • Must understand, and be able to use a variety of tools. These tools span the DevOps lifecycle from infrastructure building to monitoring and operating a product or service.
  • Experience using GIT for source control is a must
  • Understanding of modern RESTful API concepts and the ability to build tooling to consume API endpoints
  • Familiarity with distributed data center architectures, virtualization principles/hypervisors/ virtualization implementations service-oriented architectures for cloud-based services, middleware, application deployment methods, automation, testing, compliance, and auditing
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done - you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Highly collaborative, with superior communication and leadership skills, comfortable building and working with teams from diverse backgrounds
