Job description

Key responsibilities:

Drive the processes and the development, implementation and optimization initiatives that support Hempel's people performance and engagement goals. Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams across P&C to ensure that performance and engagement aligns with P&C processes. This includes to implement, adoption, governance, annual wheel execution and continuous improvement

Key tasks:

Performance management:

  • Develop and optimize Hempel's People Performance Process which includes drive goal setting, year-end review, continuous feedback (mid-year) and performance improvement.

  • Develop and conduct training to managers and people partners on performance management process in Hempel

  • Partnering with people partners and HRIS to ensure that process steps and workday solution is clear and aligned with organizational needs 

  • Continuously evaluate and strive to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Hempel' people performance process

Engagement:

  • Develop and drive the implementation of  Hempel's new engagement survey, and process.

  • Analyze engagement data to identify trends, areas of improvement and the effectiveness of engagement  approach

  • Provide training to managers and people partners on people engagement and survey best practice

  • Partnering with people partners and HRIS to ensure that process and survey solution is clear, executed and aligned with organizational engagement goals

Overall:

  • Advise people partners and leaders on performance and engagement processes in Hempel.

  • Provide guidance and support to people partners and managers on performance and engagement.   

  • Work closely with other COEs such as Talent, Development and Rewards to ensure concept and process fully supports other P&C and business processes

  • Track process adoption and identify actions / initiatives to ensure sustained adoption and changed behaviors

Required education, experience and job-related skills:

  • Relevant academic degree at Master level

  • Experience with performance management and/or people engagement

  • Experience from driving global P&C processes in other global organisations, involving activities related to effective adoption and execution
