Mid Level PHP Engineer

We are currently looking for a Mid Level PHP Engineer to join our Technology Team in Athens.

As a Mid Level PHP Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and efficient backend systems. You will work closely with our front-end developers and other team members to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Your Key Responsibilities will be to:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using PHP and Laravel frameworks.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to build full-stack applications.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in PHP and preferably Laravel
• At least 3 years of experience in back-end development
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of API development and RESTful principles
• Understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Excellent command of the English Language, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) would be considered a plus
• Experience with mobile development (iOS or Android) would be considered a plus
