Test Engineer IN (DIP)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to oversee and optimize the testing processes for Battery Management System (BMS) production. This role involves developing, commissioning, and enhancing BMS testing systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Expertise in both In-Circuit Test (ICT) and Functional Circuit Test (FCT) for printed circuit boards (PCBs) is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• BMS Production Testing Development – Design and improve testing processes for BMS production.
• Test Equipment Management – Select, commission, and accept test equipment for BMS production.
• Test Coverage Optimization – Analyze and enhance test coverage to ensure comprehensive testing.
• Exception Handling – Address major test exceptions effectively to minimize disruptions.
• Efficiency Improvement – Optimize test processes to improve efficiency and throughput.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in developing and debugging BMS test equipment.
• Strong knowledge of BMS product testing principles, methodologies, and standards.
• Proven experience in test optimization and improvement.
• Familiarity with the TS16949 quality system.
• Ability to read and understand basic technical documents in English.
• Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written).
• Advanced skills in managing ICT, FCT, EOL (End-of-Line), and Burn-in stations, and in improving First Pass Yield (FPY).
