Position Overview


We are seeking a results-driven Director of Business Development to spearhead the growth and expansion of our international influencer marketing business. In this pivotal role, you will design and implement strategic initiatives to achieve our global growth objectives. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with proven expertise in business development, particularly within influencer marketing or social media sectors. They will bring a deep understanding of international social media platforms, exceptional communication skills in English, and a talent for building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in international markets.
  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with key clients, exceeding their expectations.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans aligned with the companys growth objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes to refine strategies effectively.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including campaign and account managers, to align deliverables with client needs.
  • Oversee campaign progress to ensure timely, high-quality execution.

Revenue Growth:

  • Achieve and surpass sales targets by converting leads into long-term partnerships.
  • Explore opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services to existing clients.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in business development or sales within influencer marketing or social media, with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills for global client engagement.
  • Industry Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, as well as current trends and the creator economy.
  • Client Relationship Skills: Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities to foster trust and secure long-term partnerships.
  • Established Network: A well-developed network of brands or agencies seeking influencer marketing solutions.
  • Adaptability & Drive: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and consistently deliver results under pressure.
