Job Title
Quality Manager, Europe Quality Management

Job Description

As a Quality Manager Europe, you will act as enabler for our Philips Quality policy, driving key quality processes in the field of medical devices enabling us distribute world class products effectively and efficiently, thereby contributing to improve People’s lives.


Your role:

  • Promote Quality awareness level and fostering Quality Culture

  • Drive quality systems deployments and promoting Continuous Improvements

  • Drive achievement of Quality goals and Key Performance Indicators

  • Represent Quality in business and commercial projects, ensuring Quality support to others.

  • Manage Quality contribution to Trade Partners management

  • Host/coordinate and support audits and inspections of Region/ Zone/Country sites and follow through on results.

  • Ensure consistent Documents and records controls are executed within the organization

You're the right fit if you:

  • University degree level education or equivalent

  • Fluent in English and Local language per location, both verbal and written.

  • 5 years’ experience in the Medical Device or Equivalent Quality environment

  • Trained on ISO 9001, ISO 13485, training in 21 CFR 820 is an advantage.

  • Working knowledge of relevant international ISO Standards (ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and, as preferred, ISO 14971)

  • Experience in Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Process Excellence Greenbelt, Lean, Kaizen, Problem Solving, Daily Management

  • Demonstrated ability to align business needs, quality compliance and regulatory requirements

  • Demonstrated personal skills in Problem solving, Communication, People management and teamwork ability, Role modeling in working in a matrix

  • Successful in partnering with internal and external stakeholders and communicate across levels and cultures of the organization

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
